CHRISTOPHER ORR

Principal

CSO Land Development, LLC was founded by Christopher Orr. For him, there is nothing more exciting than standing at the curb of the next neighborhood and imagining what could be. Building neighborhoods people love to live in is his passion.  As principal, he is responsible for all aspects of the development of a neighborhood, from the initial concept to installation of the final amenities.  With more than 14 years of experience, Christopher is proud to have collaborated with developers and home builders to build outstanding communities.

Prior to starting CSO, Christopher was the Director of Development for Arcadia Realty Corp., an award-winning developer of master-planned communities in North Texas.  He continues to collaborate with Arcadia on new projects, while pursuing opportunities unique to CSO.  Before relocating to the DFW area in 2013, Christopher was the Land Acquisition Manager for a large private homebuilder, Woodside Homes of Northern California.  He holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley with a concentration in Real Estate, in addition to MS and BS degrees in Mechanical Engineering.

Christopher and his wife, Stephanie, live in Rowlett with their two boys.

WHAT WE DO

At CSO Land Development, LLC, we believe building a unique neighborhood is no accident.  Collaborating with our clients, CSO manages all development aspects of the neighborhood, from the initial concept definition and due diligence, to the entitlement approval process, to the engineering design, though construction for acceptance by the governmental authority, and any post-construction requirements.  Though we are experienced in obtaining governmental approvals from FEMA, the Army Corps and others, it is the smaller details that give each project a sense of place.  Though we have negotiated development agreements, created infrastructure financing districts, and managed project budgets, it is winning the approval of the adjacent community that makes a project a success.  Managing the small details and the big picture items for our developer and homebuilder clients is what do.  We believe it is our responsibility to remove any obstacle to the project’s success.
